PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A Portland man who had been missing since Friday, was found dead Tuesday morning.
Portland Police said 52-year-old Robert Koch's body was found in the Presumpscot River. Koch was discovered near The City of Portland Municipal Golf Course by city employees and two golfers. At the time the Portland Police Department was engaged in a search for Mr. Koch with the Maine Game Warden's Service and a State Police K9 Team. The Portland Police deployed a K9 Team and several officers into the Trolley Park and along the river leading to the golf course.
Police said Koch suffered from medical conditions that may have altered his mental state.
This case is still under investigation. At this time there is no indication the death is suspicious.
